Interests: Trophoblast development is crucial for successful pregnancy and fetal health. Trophoblast–decidual interface underlie common diseases of pregnancy, including pre eclampsia, IUGR, and stillbirth. We investigate, how trophoblast stem cells triggered the placentation. In our study we are using human trophoblast stem cells and transgenic animals to elucidate the Wnt and Ahr signaling in trophoblast invasion and development.
